The originals of these rare stereoscope slides, exposed in the 1870's in Midland and Tuscola counties by J.A. Jenney of Flint, have been carefully copied by Neil Thornton with actual photographic prints mounted on six point stock. Original printing type has been faithfully reproduced on back of cards to show actual locations of white pine lumbering operations. The originals are found in State Archives, museums and a few private collections, but these reproductions are a "first." (One original slide from this same series recently sold for $61 on an EBay^TM auction!)
